Appalachian Trail (day 30) - Pearisburg to Potts Mountain / mile 666
Good day of pushing miles and some nice views. It was heavily raining all night but there was no wind which meant that it was actually not disturbing my sleep. Overall I had a good night, the tent didn't - it was all caked in mud and I had to dry it later on during my lunch break. Trail was running along the ridge for most of the day revealing very picturesque valley when passing through sections without the trees and there was few of them. Once it stopped raining in the morning the weather was great and it stayed that way. In the afternoon I've met Lucky Seven, he was going south for the last two months, once he arrived in Georgia he was planning to join the rest Northbounders, he was doing what hikers would call "flip flopping".
