PCT day 18 - mile 343 to mile 369 (Wrightwood)
"Sorry for asking all those questions, I'm just trying to get better at walking" Beastmode. "My friend posted on social media that he's going to do PCT, but he never made it.. not even to Campo (mile 0)" Maria, the trail angel. Today the road was going up and up and up.. for the whole day until we reached the town of Wrightwood. We woke up just before six after a night full of train noises right above our heads, think I got 3 hours of sleep in total, it was definitely the worst camp location I stayed on the PCT so far and I only have myself to blame for it. Cowboy camping worked out pretty well though, I particularly enjoyed watching stars and planes as they crossed the sky at night, and since I couldn't sleep anyway I watched it, a lot. There was nothing too amazing about today's walk, we gradually gained 5.2k feet over the course of the hot and cloudless day, it felt slow and grindy.
