Road Trip - Germany

Image
All inclusive type of urbex trip. Locations visited with: Life is Illusion , Płomień and Rocko . We managed to see nine places, mainly in Saxony and around Berlin. Pilot School First stop and place we stayed over for night, huge post-soviet complex. Military Hospital This was what i believe a part of the complex, located few kilometers away from the first location, unfortunately metal thieves are doing their job and all the lamps above the beds are gone.. Beelitz Heilstätten Whole second day we spent exploring Beelitz and it's goodies, managed to do about 80% and run out of time and luck.. Kaserne Krampnitz After quite unfortunate night, where we ended up sleeping under an open sky being eaten by mosquitoes, heh.. we made our way to see the infamous black bird. Piano Sanatorium Later on the same day we went to see this little gem, got kicked out by a random worker and finishe...

Up and Down London

Good night spent with Kevin Arnold , Sho and  Keïteï . Done one underground location with funny narrow entrance, had to actually leave my jacket outside and crawl on 90 degrees to fit through, followed by two high buildings and some exceptional views. BPS Tunnels SCH Building not too high, but a nice chilling location with river view. SM Crane it was quite, damn high.

Dartmoor

That was on the cards for a long time and since Vadim decided to drive (23 hours with little breaks for photos) i was more than happy to keep his company. Place didn't disappoint but the weather did, we had plain grey sky and/or fog for the whole day long, so return visit is crawling somewhere on the horizon.

Road Trip - Birmingham

Title should be really 'around Birmingham' as we didn't make any locations inside the city, we visited eight of them. Big thanks to Happyshopper for the guided tour and a place to stay over night, Subversive for driving and Keïteï for joining in :) stop number 1, St Johns Asylum . Some unforgettable corridors and stairs in here. stop number 2, Sleaford Bass Maltings . Designed specifically to facilitate three key stages in the production of beer, the Sleaford Bass Maltings represent both a practical and architecturally pleasing group of buildings. We have seen this location mostly from above as the buildings are sealed and/or empty. stop number 3, RAF Stanigot . It was a World War II radar station situated at Stenigot, Lincolnshire. It was part of the Chain Home radar network, intended to provide long range early warning for raids from Luftflotte V and the northern elements of Luftflotte II along the approaches to Sheffield ...
